Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your account in Rumo Recap by Alphors, and exactly what happens to your data when you do. You can do it yourself in a few taps, at any time, without contacting us.
In the iPhone or Android app
- Open Rumo Recap and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap it.
- Confirm. You are signed out and your account is deleted.
On the web
- Sign in to Rumo Recap in any browser.
- Open Settings and scroll to the Account section.
- Choose Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and choose Delete my account.
- You are signed out and returned to the home page with a confirmation.
By email
If you can no longer sign in, email zuraiz@alphors.com from the address your account uses, with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete the account once we have confirmed the request came from that address, and reply to let you know it is done.
What is deleted
Everything tied to your account is permanently removed from our database:
- your account and your email address
- all of your saves (the links and their captions)
- the notes and transcripts made from them
- your folders and filing rules
- your stashed lines and ticked ingredients
- reports you sent about notes
- your API keys, so any connected AI tool loses access at once
What is kept
Nothing. We do not keep a copy of your account or your saves. The only trace left is in short-lived server request and error logs, which expire on their own within 30 days.
How long it takes
Deleting in the app or on the web takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Email requests are handled as soon as we have confirmed them, normally within 2 business days. Server logs age out within 30 days.
If you want to keep your notes, export them first (see Support).
