Rumo Recap turns the reels, threads, videos and pages you share into short notes, suggests a folder for each, and lets you export them or ask about them from your AI tools. Answers to the common questions are below; for anything else, write to us.

How do I save something from my phone?

In Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads or your browser, tap Share and pick Rumo. On iPhone, if Rumo is not in the row of apps, tap More and turn it on. The save lands in your Inbox and the note is made in the background.

Without the app, open the web app on any phone or computer, choose Paste a link and paste the address. The first time you save, Rumo asks you to agree to the link being sent to our AI provider to write the note.

How do I save something from my computer?

Install Rumo for Chrome from the Chrome Web Store, click the Rumo toolbar button and sign in once. On YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Reddit and Facebook, a Rumo button sits next to Share: one click saves the post to your Inbox. Anywhere else, right-click a link and choose Save link to Rumo, or paste the link in the web app.

Why does a note say it couldn’t be made?

Rumo writes notes from the public text around a link: the caption, the title and a transcript when one is public. Sometimes there is too little to go on (a video with only music, a private post), or the AI service was busy at that moment.

Open the note and tap Try again (or Look closer). Rumo has another go in the background; you can leave the page and the note updates when it is ready. One more try usually works. The link and caption stay saved either way.

How do I connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor?

  1. On the web, open Settings and find Ask your saves from any AI.
  2. Choose Add to Claude (or Add to Cursor). Rumo creates a personal API key and shows it once; copy it.
  3. Follow the instructions shown for your tool: a command for Claude Code, a custom connector for Claude.ai, or a snippet for Cursor’s mcp.json. Any MCP client, including ChatGPT, can use the same server URL and key.

The key can only read your library. You can regenerate or disconnect it from Settings at any time, and the old key stops working straight away.

How do I export my notes?

On any note, choose Copy as Markdown to copy that one note. For your whole library, open Settings → Export everything on the web, or ask your connected AI tool to export your saves. Exports are plain Markdown and JSON, with nothing locked in.

How do I delete a save?

Open the note and choose Delete, then confirm. The note, its stored link and its transcript are removed straight away. This cannot be undone.

How do I report a note?

If a note is wrong, offensive or harmful, open it and choose Report. Pick a reason, add details if you like, and send. We review every report.

How do I delete my account?

In the app or on the web, open Settings → Delete account and confirm. Your account and everything in it are deleted immediately. You can also email zuraiz@alphors.com from your account’s address. Full details are on Delete your account.

Does it cost anything?

Rumo is free. You get 20 free saves every week, and they refill on their own. A save only counts when Rumo makes a note from it, so links that fail don’t use one up. There is nothing to buy.
